THT-Vice Chairman of justice committee in the House of Elders Hon. Mustafa Mohamed Abdillahi has welcomed a motion on diplomatic cooperation between Somaliland and US tabled by the senate. The senator reiterated that the House of Elders will play a major role to make sure that Somaliland cooperation with the US bears fruit.
In a terse statement sent to the Horn Tribune read; “It is a great honor for the US congress to welcome the President H.E Musa Bihi Abdi at Capitol Hill. I believe that US Congress can play an important role for Somaliland quest for international recognition, this indeed can come true through congressional diplomacy.”
He added congressional diplomacy is the way forward in the foreign affairs and international cooperation between countries.
