Opposition parties are not scared to partake associations and parties elections
Thousands of Enthusiastic supporters in Hargeisa have highly welcomed Waddani Party Presidential candidate H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Irro), who returned home after working visit to different countries today.
The chairman of the Wadani party, Hon. Hirsi Ali Haji Hassan, some deputies, the central committee, and the members of the House of Representatives from the Wadani party attended the reception of the candidate Abdirahman, and received him in the VIP room
Hon. Irro, addressing the enthusiastic supporters, called on members of the new parliament to resolve their differences with closed session.
A Waddani Party candidate has blamed the government inciting political unrest in the country, and cautioned they would take responsibility for the consequences.
“Elections will be held as programmed. The Presidential election comes first.
We aren’t scared to participate in the associations and parties elections, but only after Presidential elections are held.”
Similarly, Hon. Abdirahman has hinted that WADDANI Party will not honor, the government, at the end of their constitutional term, if presidential elections are not held.
On the other hand, Chairman of Waddani Party Hon. Hirsi Ali H. Hassan, praised the contribution of the police in securing the reception.

I would like to thank all the community and supporters of the Waddani Party who took part in welcoming the Waddani Presidential Candidate Mr. Abdirahman to the capital Hargeisa.
Fans showed their support and marched from the airport to the market, expressing their feelings politely and taking part in the reception, and thank God no harm was done to the community.
I would also like to thank the Police Force for their dedicated work in providing security. I call on the supporters of Waddani Party to always be vigilant and to abide by the law.
