THT- The Ministry of Finance has conducted training on how to use the automated tax system for traders using the Berbera port.
The training was held at the Somaliland Chamber of Commerce at the Berbera International Port.
The training, organized by the Customs Department, in particular the Customs Risk Management (CRMS) in collaboration with OPM, facilitates the use of the Integrated Taxation System.
The Ministry of Finance said that as renovations and construction of the new port continue, it will be necessary to develop Berbera customs staff and traders using the port to adapt to make our business more transparent ready to adopt for the upcoming changes to the new port.
