THT-The Head of Development Partnership of the Somaliland Mission in Nairobi, Mr. Ismail Shirwa, today met with the Director General of the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, Mr Macdonald Obudho, to discuss the relationship between Kenya and Somaliland & collaboration in the areas of data collection, statistics, training and education.
Mr. Obudho, said that they are ready for a cooperative relationship with the Republic of Somaliland, and gave details activities of the departments and projects currently underway.
On December 15, the Presidents of Kenya and Somaliland signed an agreement to enhance diplomatic relations and co-operation between the two countries, and the two leaders discussed co-operation in the areas of education and training as part of the agreement.
