THT- Apart from Insubordination, standards have dropped in the region housing the Somaliland Hargeisa says deputy education minister Ahmed Tajir
The Ministery of Education and Science-MoE&S has suspended from duties with immediate effects its Maroodi-jeeh regional coordinator Abdikarim Asseyr
This was revealed through a letter addressed to the coordinator from the ministry and signed by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Ahmed Hassan Nur (Ahmed Tajir) which was copied to a number of senior regional operatives as well as the minister.
In justification of the suspension that remains effective until further notice deputy minister Ahmed Tajir said that the move is as a result of “Insubordination by the Maroodi-jeeh (Hargeisa) regional education coordinator”
Adding that this noncompliance leading to difficult working relations with MoE&S headquarters has also ensued with a drastic drop in the educational standards of the region which houses the Somaliland Capital Hargeisa.
“Until you conform with adherence to the ministerial hierarchy and subsequent reporting protocols you remain suspended from your duties as the Maroodi-jeeh regional education coordinator” the letter to Abdikarim read (below)
The ministry of education recently unified the Maroodi-jeeh regional education office run by a coordinator after scrapping east and west Hargeisa education management sectors.
