THT-The Somaliland Quality Control Commission (SQCC) has issued new requirements for Pharmaceutical Companies to fulfill prior to importing any medicine to the country.
A letter issued by SQCC and signed by its director General Mohamed Geedi Ainanshe and addressed to Pharmaceutical Companies informed that the new requirements, were :
- Must submit Certificate of Origin
- ’’ Certificate of Analysis
- ’’ Packaging of List
- ’’ Bill of Landing
- No medicine importation permitted expiring less than six months.
New requirements outlined SQCC anticipated to improve quality and quantity of all medicine to be utilized in the country onward.
