The President H.E. Ahmed Mohammed Mohamud Silanyo had over the week sent his deep hearted condolences on the demise of the former SL armed force commander the late Ibrahim Aideed “Dab-dable” who died Tuesday last week in Djibouti.
His body which was flown in to the country was laid to rest in Hargeisa.
The President sent his condolences to armed forces while noting the special strategic major role the late commander played in the reconstitution, re-structuring and rebuilding of the Somaliland defence forces.
The President mourned by paying tribute to that special role hence described him as a diligent professional soldier.
In the same breath, the Head of State sent the condolences to the family, relatives and friends of the late commander and prayed to God to bless his soul in eternity hence urged the family members to have greater faith during the trying moment of mourning.
