WADDANI Party Chairman Hon. Hersi Ali Haji Hassan has appointed a committee of party leaders and experienced scholars to finalize the ruling party’s political ideology ahead of its upcoming congress.
The committee will be responsible for completing and consolidating WADDANI’s political ideology, which was previously approved by the party’s Central Council, before submitting it to the party’s congress for consideration.
In a statement published on his Facebook page, Chairman Hersi described the appointment as part of a long-standing process aimed at developing a political vision that balances present-day realities with the party’s aspirations for the future.
He said the work would draw on research already conducted, academic knowledge and lessons learned from experience in governance.
Hersi expressed confidence that the committee would contribute the knowledge, insights and wisdom needed to shape the political principles that will guide WADDANI’s future direction.

The newly appointed committee comprises seven members:

- Abdifatah Ahmed Ileye — Member
The initiative marks a step in WADDANI’s efforts to formalize and consolidate its political ideology, setting out the principles and long-term vision that will guide the party as it continues its political and governance responsibilities.
