WADDANI Party Chairman Hon. Hersi Ali Haji Hassan has brought together key government ministers and the party’s newly appointed Finance Committee in a meeting aimed at strengthening coordination and cooperation between the ruling party and the government.
The meeting brought together the Ministers of Finance Development, National Planning, and Trade & Tourism, alongside members of the WADDANI Party Finance Committee, which was recently appointed by the party chairman.
According to Chairman Hersi, the meeting was primarily intended to facilitate introductions and establish closer coordination between the ministers and the new committee, which is expected to provide support and assistance in the ministers’ wide-ranging responsibilities to the nation.
Hersi expressed his hope that the newly appointed committee and the ministers would develop strong working relationships, emphasizing the committee’s potential role in contributing significantly to the success of the ministries.
The WADDANI chairman concluded by describing the relationship between the party and the government as closely interconnected, declaring:
“A Party and a Government—twins, closely connected!”
The meeting highlights the party leadership’s stated intention to strengthen coordination between WADDANI’s internal structures and the government institutions led by its ministers.
