The spokesperson for the WADDANI Party, Mohamed Farah, has strongly criticized remarks made by the KAAH Party, saying its position does not reflect the aspirations and wishes of the people of Somaliland.
Speaking on the issue, Mohamed Farah described Somaliland’s recognition as the most significant milestone the nation has awaited for decades.
“What Mahmoud Hashi does not consider to be victory is the recognition that Somaliland has achieved. There is no greater achievements for Somaliland than recognition, because what it has long yearned for is recognition, and today it has attained that recognition,” he said.
The WADDANI spokesperson further accused the KAAH Party of condemning Somaliland’s recognition, arguing that such a stance is contrary to the hopes and ambitions of the Somaliland people.
“We want to make it clear to the people of Somaliland that the ideas of the KAAH Party are not the kind of vision with which the country should be led, nor do they represent the aspirations of the people of Somaliland,” Mohamed Farah stated.
