The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Hamse Abdirahman Khayre, headed a powerful delegation that made a strong appearance at one of the world’s premier fintech gatherings: the Inclusive Fintech Forum (IFF) 2026 and MojaCom 30, held in Rwanda’s vibrant capital.

Drawing over 3,000 delegates from more than 80 countries, the landmark conference brought together central bankers, government leaders, fintech innovators, global financial institutions, and leading experts to shape the future of inclusive digital finance.

During the high-profile event, Deputy Governor Khayre and his team engaged in a series of strategic bilateral meetings with international counterparts, central bank officials, and technology pioneers. The discussions centered on three critical pillars for Somaliland’s economic future:

Rapid expansion of secure, accessible digital financial services
