Dr. Jama Musse Jama
I congratulate the people of the Republic of Somaliland on this historic day, sharing the joy with all generations who have waited for this moment. I salute those who have strived, traveled, endured, and worked tirelessly for it—and those who continue working for even greater victories. I thank and share congratulations with Somaliland’s friends who have waited alongside us and supported us until this day has finally arrived.
Today is a great day! What happened today is truly monumental. Somaliland’s renewed international recognition is a reality the world must reckon with—it is an undeniable fact (those who truly understand the game know it well: the “jar is sealed”). It is a reality that must be taken into account and cannot be ignored by anyone.
For most of the world that remains silent, their silence is tacit approval. They are waiting for the right opportunity and moment, watching for “prime time” in the media—the moment of maximum impact.
For us today, we have celebrated, and from tomorrow we will work more than twice as hard as yesterday. The victory will grow even greater: let our chests be firm, let us share congratulations with one hand while defending the nation with the other—united and vigilant.
Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations—SOMALILAND VICTORY!
