The meeting focused on aligning the Electricity Law with Somaliland’s evolving energy needs. Key objectives included enhancing the quality of electricity services, stimulating economic growth, and ensuring reliable and equitable access to power across all regions. Participants underscored the need for robust cooperation between government institutions, local authorities, and communities to deliver fair and efficient electricity services.
