Minister of Planning Chairs High-Level Consultation to Advance NDPIII Priorities

The Minister of Planning and National Development, Hon. Kaltun Sheik Hassan Abdi, chaired a pivotal ministerial meeting today at the Ministry’s headquarters, bringing together members of the Economic Development Committee of the Council of Ministers. The high-level consultation focused on reviewing and prioritizing the Third National Development Plan (NDPIII 2023–2027), a cornerstone for Somaliland’s progress and alignment with the government’s strategic vision.

In her opening remarks, Minister Kaltun underscored the critical role of NDPIII in driving national development and achieving Somaliland’s long-term aspirations. She called on committee members to utilize such forums to ensure the plan’s effective implementation, addressing the nation’s pressing needs.

The Director of the Planning and Coordination Department presented a detailed report, outlining Somaliland’s developmental milestones, the 2030 national vision, and key priorities for the next phase of NDPIII. The presentation highlighted transformative changes aimed at shaping the country’s future growth.
