Presidency Minister pledges more efforts as he takes over docket

The new Minister of the Presidency Hon. Khadar Hussein Abdi, underpinned the fact that aspirations, maintenance and safeguarding national cohesion and peaceful stability would be the core of his domain as he assumed his portfolio on Thursday.

As he gave his sentiments at the event of the handing over of the office he was receiving from outgoing presidency DG Mohamed Ali Bile, the minister pledged, “I promise that we will inject more hours into our tasks as we work on implementing the President’s policies”.

While thanking the Head of State for naming him to the most powerful post, he likewise pledged that his office would not indulge in arrogance of unwarranted misdemeanour in serving the populaces hence would be just and uphold diligence and righteousness,

The handing over official outgoing official briefed the audience present on the past work they have managed to do over the past seven years that he has been at the helm, given the 10 departments or sections that fall under the office.
