Somaliland is the only country in Africa where there is political stability and reliable security.
This is according to the 2024 report of the International Crisis Group.
The Crisis Group report noted that Somaliland has overcome political uncertainty following the presidential and party elections on 13 November 2024, which was held peacefully and transparently.
The report indicated that the elections could lead to the restoration of relations between Somaliland and Djibouti, as well as a resolution of tensions with the SSC Khaatumo, which have been in conflict for years.
Despite Political and Security stability it’s Time for Somaliland government and the Dhulbahante clan to Talk.
“The presidential election was held peacefully after months of tension and two years of delays. The opposition leader won, raising hopes for improvements in internal and external relations,” the report said.
