Police arrest women duo for spewing vitriolic and inciting sentiments in public

The Somaliland Police has arrested two women Qadan Abdilahi Mohamed and Ubah Abdirahman Omar for indulging in acts of misdemeanor in public, they have announced.

The two have been reportedly apprehended for spewing acrimonious and vitriolic words through the social media by spreading insults, public incitement and indulging in vices that are against the behavioral morality of the Islamic religion that is against the country’s laws.

In carrying out their duties, the police arrested the two on Friday evening in line with dutiful measures of safeguarding and protecting the religion, culture and public safety hence said that they would be arraigned before a court of law expeditiously.

On the same note, the Police Headquarters is sending a warning to caution the members of public against indulging in such malpractices since they would be answerable to the laws of the nation.
