The Chairman of the Somaliland Elections Commission, Mr. Muse Hassan Yusuf and his delegation were welcomed in Taiwan.
The delegation led by Somaliland’s election commissioner was welcomed by Taiwan’s Central Election Commission and officials from Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan has said that the members of the Somaliland Elections Commission have been invited to the upcoming elections in Taiwan to witness the election process.
While in Taiwan, the delegation will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan, Dr. Joseph Wu and other leaders of the country.
The two committees of Taiwan and Somaliland will exchange knowledge and experience related to elections.
Somaliland’s and Taiwan’s election commissions have agreed to strengthen their ties to promote democracy.
