The Speaker of the Senate Hon. Saleban Mohamud Adan, who spoke about the violence that happened in Go’da area where armed gunmen attacked the police force, said that they will appoint a committee to advise on the incident.
Hon. Saleban, who presided over a senate meeting yesterday to discuss the situation in the mountain, said that the government and the elders are working collectively to defuse the tension.
“We shall appoint a committee to advise on the situation in the mountain that consists of the chairmen of the six select committees of the senate”.
He then appointed the chairmen of the six sub-committees of the senate, and they are expectedly to report back to the senate on Tuesday.
