The Minister of Investment Development and Industry of Somaliland Hon. Amina Elmi Farid welcomed a large delegation of potential investors under the auspice of the Logan Aventura group.
The investment delegation, which consisted of 32 members that included investors and businessmen, was warmly received by the minister at the international airport of Igal International Airport.
The minister underscored the importance of peaceful security and stability in any setting and as such it was due to it that such a delegation that is interested to invest in the country jets in.
She explained that they consisted of engineers and doctors and that there are those who do industrial installations and factories hence Somaliland cherishes and welcomes the efforts being done by all for investing in the country.
“It is a blessing that the world comes to us and invest in Somaliland, what we have achieved is a blessing”, she said and added “you have come to Somaliland, whatever you need from us, we will be there for you and we welcome you greatly. Somaliland is a safe country that welcomes everyone who comes.”
On the other hand, a spokesperson for the delegation of investors thanked the minister for the reception they were accorded and said that they were eager to come to Somaliland and orientate themselves.
Areas of focus for investors are said to include the agricultural sector, wells and laboratories.
