THT- The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Livestock Hon. Mohamed Jama Warfaa is in a tour to observe the departments’ work in the Daad-Madeed region at Odweyne.
The Deputy Minister held meetings with the Governor of Daad-madeed Mohamed Diriye Haid and the Coordinator of the Ministry of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries of Daad-madeed Region and area ministry’s staff.
Hon. Warfaa said that his visit was related to orientation in the work of the ministry and to observe and gain information about the living conditions of animals and herdsmen during this period of drought in the country.
He said, “I went to inspect the work of the Ministry of Animal Husbandry in Daad-madeed Region and the works involved in it. The government has implemented many projects in the region and others are ongoing”
He noted that Odweyne was fortunate to have palpable progressive development.
He praised the Waahol team from Oodweyne won a coveted tournament
trophy and pledged consideration by the ministry.
