THT-The vice-president of Somaliland H.E. Abdirahman Abdillahi Ismael Sayli’i who is also the chairman of the National Droughts Committee has named a committee to initiate fundraisers for the national drought kitty.
The VP stated that the country is suffering from a recurring drought, hence the need to find other alternatives for funds to help the affected population. He revealed the drought menace is increasingly putting people’s lives in peril.
He said “I have decided to appoint a fundraiser Committee comprising businessmen and the clergy to raise funds for this benevolent endeavour.”
