THT-The head of military court eastern region Colonel Ismael Ali Farah has warned all disciplined forces that any soldier who kills another will prompt face the same fate. He confirmed that they had reached the aforementioned deliberation following the rise of soldier’s killings by their colleagues.
He said “We have forwarded our decision to the commander in chief of the armed forces H.E Musa Bihi Abdi, the chief of general staff Major General Nuuh Taani, commissioner of police Major General Mohamed Adan Saqadi Dabagale.”
Colonel Ismael added that they had to take the serious step so that they rein in on rogue soldiers who take the lives of their colleagues.
The army commander’s sentiments follow increase in incidences of soldiers slaying their comrades in arm. Of late cases of soldiers killing their own has become a menace.
