THT-The Kulmiye party supporters at Burao the capital of Togdheer region, have shown their support for the KULMIYE party at the public square during their first day of the KULMIYE party’s campaign.
Thousands of supporters waved hundreds of KULMIYE party banners with pictures, names, symbols and numbers of party candidates vying for seats in the Regional House of Representatives and the Burao District Council, as well as marching through the main streets of the city.
The rally of KULMIYE supporters in Burao was attended by many officials from the KULMIYE party and government officals, including the party’s first vice chairman and Somaliland Minister of Interior Hon. Mohamed Kahin Ahmed, Ministers; Animal Husbandry Hon. Said Sulub Mohamed, Minerals Hon. Jama Haji Mohamud Egal, Public Works and Housing Hon. Abdirashid Haji Duale Qambi, Minister of Environment and Rural Development Hon. Ms. Shukri Haji Ismail Bandare, Chairperson of the IDP and Refugee Agency Mr. Abdikarin Ahmed Mohamed, MP Said Elmi Roble, KULMIYE regional and district administration, other officials, politicians, traditional leaders and scholars, all of whom welcomed the support of the people of Burao along with their contesting candidates.
