President jets off to Djibouti for President Guelle’s Inauguration

THT-The President H.E Musa Bihi Abdi has arrived in Djibouti on Friday to attend the inauguration of President of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Gueleh following his re-election as president for the fifth term in April 12 presidential polls.

President Bihi was been accompanied by the information minister Hon. Suleiman Yusuf Ali Ali Koore, Foreign deputy minister Hon. Liban Yusuf Osman and Defence minister Abdighani Mohamoud Ateeye during his trip to Djibouti.

The President is part of Heads of States and governments from Africa like Kenya and beyond as well as other dignitaries who are attending the inauguration ceremony.

Djibouti PM Honorable Abdiqadir Kamil Mohmed received SL President upon arrival with red carpet treatment.

Deputy FM, Liban Yusuf Osman, said that the president is attending the inauguration to show SL’s solidarity with the people of Djibouti and the government. Both countries share long standing history based on the brotherhood and friendship between the two neighboring countries. President Gueleh’s re-election renews the brotherhood and friendship between the two states..
