A graduation ceremony for more than 110 students who studied various apprentice skills such as marketing and beatification and grooming at Hiraal Institute was held in Hargeisa.

The students benefited from the training in youth development particularly skills in grooming women and learning about social media and modern digital marketing.

The training was provided by the SOHASCO association in coordination with the UNFPA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The graduates were presented with certificates of their various disciplines.

The event was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports, the school administration, the education community, parents, youth, women, graduates and other guests.

Principal of the school Hiraal Nimo Hassan said, “I congratulate you all, we are happy with how well you have used the opportunity you have.”

“We are congratulating the 110 students who have studied for three months and we hope that the education will be useful for you and that you will go to work, God willing,” said one of the teachers who taught the students.

“Our people only use social media for entertainment, but we have learned that it can be used in other ways,” said Abdirashid, one of the students who completed training on social media and modern marketing.

“My happiness and feelings are immeasurable today”, said Hana, another of the students who completed the social media and modern marketing training.
