Government ministers, diplomats condole Turkey in the wake of catastrophic earthquake

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Issa Keyd Mohamud sent a message of condolence to the people and the government of Turkey in the wake of the thousands of deaths, injuries and damages caused by the mega earthquake catastrophic disaster last week that befell that country.

Dr. Issa was accompanied by the Minister of Finance Dr. Sa’ad Ali Shire, Deputy Minister of Health, Chief Police Commander Major General Mohamed Adan Saqadi and Mrs. Edna Adan, who visited the Turkish Consulate in Hargeisa yesterday where they all signed a condolence book, to express their sorrow for the disaster.

The country was seriously damaged by the earthquake that hit Southeast Turkey, February 6, 2023.

The British and Taiwanese diplomats also signed the condolence book at the Turkish office in the country.
