THT-Sultan Daud Sultan Mohamed Sultan Abdikadir, who sent a message to opposition parties and traditional leaders, called on them to work for social cohesion.
Speaking to the media yesterday, Sultan Daud said that the purpose of the meeting was to maintain security in the country and that no one can harm, except God.
Sultan Daud called on opposition parties to eliminate traditional leaders from their parties, as they are the ones who will mediate in times of conflict.
“It is a shame for us and the country, if the traditional leaders become political parties, or campaigners, or threats come from within the parties”, he said.
Sultan Daud stated that the president was the leader we elected yesterday, and today, it is a shame if we insult him.
“I call on the president to summon the two chairmen and resolve any differences through dialogue”, he added.
