The Minister of Agriculture has urged farmers to step up their practices such that production of substance crops may be amply realized in the country.
Hon. Mohammed Aw Dahir Ibrahim who was on an up-country tour told the farmers at Beer in Togdeer region to pull up their socks such that more production would be realized.
The minister was accompanied by his DG Mr. Abdillahi Ismael Farah and the provincial agricultural coordinator Mr. Mohammed Abdi Gurey.
The DG revealed that the area agricultural projects were recipients of a million dollar grant and that $500,000 dollars would be pumped in this year.
He further announced the construction of four other irrigational canals, courtesy of the World Vision.
