Hon Mahmoud Abdi Hashi, Minister of Presidency speaking during the opening of two schools in Sahil region said, “The current government led by H.E President Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud Silanyo has since being elected initiated and implement numerous development projects in the region.

The Presidency Minister also denied that the government was suspicious of the proposed “Baxarasaafka” clan meeting.

Hon Mahmoud Abdi Hashi speaking during one of the function for the opening of a boarding school build by the regional development committee “DAN IYO DUCO” said, “First and foremost, I would like to thank you for the auspicious reception accorded to the President of the Republic and his entourage, secondly, I would like to use this opportunity to laud the Sahil regional development committee “DAN IYO DUCO” for their efforts and contribution towards the construction of the two boarding , I pray for May God reward them with his bounties.

“When people unite they can accomplish so many things, on its part the ruling party “KULMIYE” under the leadership of H.E President Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud Silanyo has being mobilising citizens to help themselves through the regional and district development committees, in the past 6 years’ roads and schools have been build and the government has been giving hand along the way” he said.

The Presidency Minister further added, “The development projects initiated and implemented by the current government in Sahil region can be clearly by every healthy eye. The has also benefitted from other numerous development projects worth millions of dollars thanks to the Somaliland Development Fund (SDF). It can be said the much has changed in the last six years than in the past two decades.

Hon Mahmoud Abdi Hashi lastly dismissed reports which alleged that the government was suspicious of the proposed “Baxarasaafka” clan meeting.
