Hargeisa (THT) The President of the Republic of Somaliland H.E. Ahmed Mohammed Mohamud had on Friday evening surprised patrons at a local city hotel when he confidently popped into it accompanied by only his family members and without the usual security details.
Over half a dozen times has the Head of State made such an impromptu tour during the night underscoring the security stability cherished within the country.
Prior to entering Summer time Hotel, the President surprised soccer team and the audience watching a football game at the well harnessed Turkish Stadium.
Given that his visits on the night of Friday/Saturday actually happened after dusk and was not escorted by usual armed-to-the-teeth presidential guards, the casual walks he made and freely and candidly meeting and mixing with the populace is quite mesmerizing hence confounds both friends and foes.
He was accompanied by the First Lady Amina Sheikh Mohammed Jirde and his grand children.
